Ok, so I'm here now - what's in it for me?

Great question! Our main aim is to help mum's make an informed choice about what to do with their kids. For example, if you have a young baby or just moved into the area with your toddlers and you need to know what other mums think of the local creche - then you can find that out here. Or you can leave your own review for other mums to read. There are 1000's of listings to browse.

For those of you kind enough to add ten or more reviews and/or listings each month you will get entered into our monthly Prize Draw for our FREE spa voucher.

Right, I get all that - what's the background story?

Jon De Maria runs Digital Punk Media Ltd - the company that owns Help4Mums.com. Jon recently had a baby boy (ok, technically his partner Geraldine did). Anyway - being of a picky nature he wanted to find out what other parents had to say about the local playgroup in his area of south London. Upon Googling he drew a blank. Frustrated Jon downed a few 'britney spiers' and soon after Help4Mums.com was born. In subsequent focus groups it became clear that while many mums relied on local 'word of mouth' it would also help if a site such as Help4Mums.com existed to add an extra layer of support. On the flipside, experienced mums can leave their own advice. But initially the site came from a real need/demand of a young(ish) parent looking for some practical support.

Why is only London covered?

We want to provide the best service we can - so Help4Mums.com is being rolled out across the UK over the coming months after first being tested in London.

What's the catch?

There is none. The site has a simple purpose and we hope is easy to use. Best of all its FREE! In order to write reviews you first need to log in/register. If you just wanted to browse the site then you don't even have to do that. However if you are having trouble with something on the site then let us know via the Contact section and we will do our very best to sort it out. We believe that 'you don't have to be ill to get better' so all suggestions are more than welcome.

How do I get started?

Go to the Home Page and its best to quickly register - that way you can use all of Help4Mums.com. we only need a few details. In order to 'search' for a creche for example, you can either search by post code or buiness name, or browse by business category or if you can't find what you need then simply add the business.

Why are there not more business reviews?

Another good question! We have only recently launched, so need your help to create the best database possible. In time and with your help, the volume of reviews will expand. In order to help with this process - for those of you adding 10 or more reviews in the early weeks, we will enter your name in our monthly FREE Spa voucher prize draw. Basically this is YOUR site to add to and evolve as you wish to.
